Assistant Professor of Economics, Yale

I’m an assistant professor in the Department of Economics. My research is motivated by a desire to understand how economic policy can alleviate poverty and increase economic opportunity for low-income households. My work combines econometric methods with the collection and curation of new data sets to create new empirical evidence that can help policy design and evaluation. I'm especially interested in housing and labor market policies. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a PhD in economics in 2019, and subsequently I was a Saieh Family Research Fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute. Before Chicago, I studied at the London School of Economics and at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the city where I grew up. If you’re interested in chatting, please reach out.
