William Doss Suter
My academic background is in architecture and urban history, and I currently work as an urban designer and campus planner in the Harvard Planning Office. Born in Chicago, I grew up in Egypt, Switzerland, France, and Italy. I went to high school on Chicago’s North Shore (Go Trevians!), first came to Boston as an undergrad (Go Eagles!), and went to architecture school just down the road (Go Tech!). I’m eager to speak with anyone with a shared interest in architecture, urbanism (e.g., at the urbanist Table), languages (e.g., at the Arabic and Italian Tables), travel, rowing (particularly Lowell House crew!), and ecumenism, among many other topics. I was first introduced to this hallowed House by late Lowellian Bill Crout, and I hope I can make a fraction of Bill’s contribution to Lowell’s residents and its SCR.
