Hi everyone! I’m a current PhD candidate in the government department studying public policy and geographic inequality. I’m particularly passionate about teaching, and have taught and TF’d lots of courses on data science, public policy, and American politics. I studied Politics / Statistics & Machine Learning at Princeton, and was elected to my local school board for two terms before coming to Harvard. Outside of Harvard, I work as a session musician in a few recording studios around Boston. I’m also a Data Scientist at the Office of Evaluation Sciences, an interdisciplinary team with the US federal government that helps federal agencies conduct (often randomized) evaluations of their programs and policies to improve future decision-making. I’m a concentration advisor for the Government Department, and would be more than happy to meet with you about courses, research (including a thesis), graduate school, local politics, and anything else, etc. I’m also particularly happy to talk to any first-generation college students, as I found that transition a tricky one to make.
