Tracy Palandjian
I graduated from the College with a degree in Economics in 1993 and received my MBA from HBS in 1997. I had been on a fairly predictable career path in the private sector (Management Consulting at McKinsey and Parthenon, Asset Management at Wellington) before founding Social Finance in 2011. We are an unusual non-profit working across finance, policy and social change with the goal of re-imagining the role of capital markets to tackle entrenched social challenges. We have pioneered new impact investments, such as the Social Impact Bond and Career Impact Bond, to measurably improve the lives of those in need. On a personal level, I grew up in Hong Kong, met my husband Leon in Eliot House, became an American, and have now been living in Belmont with Leon and our three daughters Te, Charis and Pari.
