Timothy McDonald

Hi everyone! I am Tim McDonald and I'm currently a rising 3rd and last year student at Harvard Law School. Before coming to HLS, I studied Chemical Engineering at Howard University, graduating in 2022. I'm originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and after college, I worked briefly at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and then as a patent agent at Venable LLP in Washington, D.C. At Harvard, I'm an active member of the Black Law Students Association and Harvard Association for Law & Business and am excited to contribute to building supportive community spaces. I have an interest in IP law, with a concentration in sports and entertainment. In my free time, you can usually find me watching movies (at home or at the Harvard Film Archive), traveling, playing basketball with friends, or organizing game nights. I look forward to being a resource for students as they navigate and thrive in their time here. I'm thrilled to be coming back for my 2nd year as a tutor.
