Scott Kominers

Sarofim-Rock Professor of Business Administration

I completed my A.B. in Mathematics (with a minor in Ethnomusicology) at Harvard in 2009, then stayed on for an A.M. and Ph.D. in Business Economics. Lowellian Legend Noam Elkies and Faculty Deans D & D (outgoing) and Z & L (incoming) have all been mentors and role models of mine since college. I am a huge proponent of undergraduate research, especially the Summer Research Village -- please come talk to me about the research life (and/or grad school!). Before joining the Harvard faculty, I taught at the University of Chicago for two years, and then was a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. I periodically write for Bloomberg Opinion, and also perform math rap.
