Robert G. Ory Professor of Economics
I was born in the beautiful city of Barcelona (Spain), but have lived in the Boston area since 1999. I have taught at Harvard since receiving my Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in 2003. My teaching and research fields are international economics, and my most recent work is focused on the analysis of global value chains and on multinational activity in the United States. I’d be happy to discuss these topics with any Lowellians, but I would also be delighted to discuss broader social science topics with you. I spend most of my free time with my lovely wife and two daughters, but when they get tired of me I also enjoy watching sports (anything, really) and go for long runs.
