Lawrence Katz
Elisabeth Allison Professor of Economics
I am a Professor in the Department of Economics who studies, teaches, and advises students on topics in labor economics, the economics of education, and the economics of social problems. My recent work focuses on understanding wage inequality, the impact of technological change on the labor market, the geography of economic opportunity, and the evaluation of the impacts of employment and housing mobility policies. I can often be found walking around campus and other parts of Cambridge with Pika, our Golden Retriever.
