Katherine Merseth

I am best known among undergraduates as the faculty member who teaches a popular General Education class (Dilemmas of ) Equity and Excellence in K12 American Schools. Most recently, I designed the new Harvard Teacher Fellows Program, a blended program, which offers Harvard College Seniors an innovative path to teach underserved students. In addition, I designed the Education Studies program that enables Harvard College students to pursue the study of education as a secondary (minor) field. I enjoy talking with undergraduates about their career and internship ideas and I look forward to being a member of the Senior Common Room in 2019-2020.
