Sociology Concentration Advisor

Hi everyone! I’m a PhD candidate in sociology at Harvard and the sociology concentration advisor for Lowell House. I grew up in Philadelphia and did my undergraduate studies in anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. These days I’m working on my dissertation, an interview-based study of nonprofit homeless shelters, missions, ministries, and like-minded agencies in different US cities. I’m also trying to teach myself Python, which is going about as well as you’d expect. In my role as a concentration advisor, I’m happy to chat about the field of sociology at large, the sociology concentration, course selection, research opportunities, and so on, so feel free to reach out! Outside of academia, I watch an unwise amount of TV and walk all over Cambridge with my dog, Dexter.
