Hey all! I'm Hamza. I'm a final year PhD student at SEAS in Applied Mathematics, focusing on the intersection of AI and Neuroscience. During my PhD, I've consulted with big pharma companies for applied AI in drug discovery, Venture Capital firms exploring investments in AI for deep scientific technologies, and government organizations interested in tapping into the Boston innovation ecosystem. Happy to chat about anything from getting involved in research, to grad school applications, to building an AI-based startup, to theories about what the One Piece is. In my free time, I love martial arts, dancing salsa, watching anime, making jokes, writing poetry, and drinking tea.
