Hi Lowell! My name is Francisco and I'm excited to form a part of this community as a resident tutor! I'm originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, but I grew up spending half of my time there and in Arizona. After graduating from the College in 2012, I spent some time working in India before heading to the UK for grad school in Computer Science and Mathematics at Oxford. After finishing my PhD, I worked as Career Development Fellow and Senior Tutor of Computer Science at Balliol, College Oxford, where I was fortunate to spend much time with CS undergrads over two years. Currently I'm a Postdoctoral Fellow at the school of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), where my research focuses on Algorithmic Game Theory, Decentralized Consensus Protocols and Computational Learning Theory. I'm also very passionate about bridging research and policy with interdisciplinary work, especially through the research initiative of Mechanism Design for Social Good (MD4SG), which I have the pleasure of co-organizing. Please reach out to me if you have any questions regarding Mathematics and Computer Science;  if you'd like to chat about working/studying abroad; or even if you'd like to practice some Spanish/Hindi alongside my wife Rhea. We're always glad to chat!
