Eileen Finan

After serving as a longstanding member of Harvard’s Office of the General Counsel for 27 years, I retired in October 2024.  In my earlier life I earned a Ph.D. in English from Rutgers University, where I also served as Managing Editor of Rutgers University Press. I live in Roslindale and have two adult children, a son who works for the Commonwealth as an urban planner and a daughter who is pursuing her passion for theater in the Chicago area. My favorite pastimes include reading, hiking, and theater. I have enjoyed getting to know the Lowell House student community, including through pre-law advising.
