Diane Lopez
I am a lawyer, having attended Columbia Law School. I practiced “big law” in Manhattan before joining Harvard’s General Counsel’s Office, where I currently am the Vice President and General Counsel. I would love to connect with students contemplating a career in the law – though I will not be able to discuss any matters my office is handling. I grew up in the Bronx, but I’ve lived many other places. I’ve raised two children, Arturo and Ayla, and I have a Boston Terrier, Chevy, who would be happy to visit Lowell if permitted. When I have the time, I take tango lessons from the Harvard Tango Club. Though an atheist, I attend a Unitarian Universalist church for the chance to sing and for the social justice opportunities it affords me. For about 10 years I have helped direct, and build sets for, a children’s musical theater organization.
