David Parkes
George F. Colony Professor of Computer Science
I am a computer scientist and part economist, pursuing research and teaching classes on topics that arise at the intersections between artificial intelligence and microeconomics, especially related to market design, game theory, and the digital economy. I'm also involved with building up data science at Harvard, including new educational programs. I grew up in England, and have been in the US since 1995. These days I live with my husband in Cambridge. We also enjoy spending time on the south shore. I used to race road bike, and even earlier was a coxswain for my college crew at Oxford.
