Claudia
I’m delighted to become part of your Lowell undergraduate experience. I am a professor in the Economics Department and am also a historian, demographer, and sociologist. My research on women’s changing economic roles through history reflects my multidisciplinary approach. I grew up in the Bronx and went to Cornell University for my BA and the University of Chicago for my PhD. I am often seen with Pika, my Golden Retriever, whom I trained to be a champion competition scenting dog. He has been one of the PBHA therapy dogs for six years and would like to be your fluffy friend.
