Born and raised in Colorado, I studied undergrad economics at the University of Denver. After six years as a financial futures analyst and trader, I did graduate work in econ at the University of Colorado and Harvard. I taught Ec10 in Harvard College for many years, and was a resident tutor in Lowell as well. I teach full time at Boston University as well as the Harvard Extension School.
