Hi Lowell House! I am excited for another year in Lowell and, specifically, in Ridgely Hall!  I am Harvard College alumna, though, I must admit I was in Kirkland…please don’t hold it against me! At Harvard, I studied social anthropology and archaeology and was an active member of the Harvard Crimson news staff in addition to managing the IM crew team at Kirkland. After Harvard, I had the opportunity to complete a Master’s degree in anthropology at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, where I was also involved in my college’s rowing program. These days, I am a PhD student in the Department of Architecture at MIT where I study the relationship between art and science in the 19th century, resource extraction, photography, and visual and material culture from the Middle East. This year, I am serving as the co-chair of the Fellowships Committee and as an arts tutor. When I have some free time, I enjoy yoga, cooking/baking, and photography. If you’ve got a fellowships question, a museum you want to visit, or a recipe to swap, come find me (70% chance I’m in the dhall)!
