Hello Lowellians! I am so excited for my second year in this amazing community as your Resident Dean! My role is to support you in your unique experience at Harvard, with the understanding that your personal, physical, mental, social, spiritual, etc. well-being is tied to your academic well-being. I am here to help you with any academic or personal issues; if I don't have the answer, I will make sure to guide you to someone who can help you. I'm a non-judgmental listener and confidant, and having had my fair share of life experiences, I am shocked at nothing. Even if you don't have any issues, I'd love to get to know all of you, so please email me at lo-abrd@fas.harvard.edu or sign up for a meeting with me at calendly.com/anniepark!

While I grew up in many places, including many cities in Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and South Korea, I've now spent the longest period of my life in Boston. I come from an immigrant family and was a FGLI student at Williams College. After graduation, I spent a year working abroad in Chile, and then I completed my PhD in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program here at Harvard studying the bacterium that causes tuberculosis. After deciding research was not for me, I started working as a TA for Ls1a, Ls1b, and GenEd 1004. I spent three years as a preceptor for Ls1b and am now also a lecturer in MCB.

Some of my other interests include music (mostly classical, jazz, and Broadway), nature adventures, baking healthy-ish things, and faith related things: as a pretty liberal Christian, I'm always up for a discussion on the ways faith(s of all different religions) intersect with science, gender/sexuality, college life, etc. I also love traveling (so far made it to 20 countries), and I dream of going to Antarctica one day before it all melts away.

Joining me here are my husband Caleb (theological seminary student, lover of basketball), my toddler Nico (will try to hit you if you get too close, lover of trains and trucks and buses and berries), and my 13-year old chihuahua Jerry (thinks he owns all of Lowell House, lover and protector of his little human pack). We look forward to meeting all of you!
