Dr. Annie Park

Allston Burr Resident Dean, Lowell House
Office: W120

Hello Lowellians!

I am thrilled for my sixth year in this amazing community as your Resident Dean! My role is to support you in your unique experience at Harvard, with the understanding that your personal, physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being is tied to your academic well-being. I am here to help you with any academic or personal issues; if I don't have the answer, I will make sure to guide you to someone who can help you. I'm a non-judgmental listener and confidant, and having had my fair share of life experiences, I am shocked at nothing. Even if you don't have any issues, I'd love to get to know all of you, so please email me at lo-abrd@fas.harvard.edu or sign up for a meeting with me at calendly.com/anniepark!

While I grew up in many places, I've now spent the longest period of my life in Boston/Cambridge. I come from an immigrant family and was a FGLI student back in the days, and I completed my PhD in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program here at Harvard. After deciding research was not for me, I started working as a TA at Harvard, then spent three years as a preceptor for Ls1b and am now also a lecturer in MCB.

Some of my other interests include music, nature adventures, baking healthy-ish things, trying new teas and chocolates, and faith related things: as a liberal Christian, I'm always up for a discussion on the ways faith(s of all different religions) intersect with science, gender/sexuality, college life, etc. I also love traveling (so far made it to 20 countries), and I dream of going to Antarctica one day before it all melts away.

Joining me here are my husband Caleb (hospital chaplain intern, lover of baseball), my son (lover of firetrucks, trains, and dogs), and our little pooch (lover of people, chasing bunnies, and dogs). We look forward to meeting all of you!
