Medicine, Biophysics/Biochem, English Literature

I'm Anna-Sophia, or A-S, and I'm a sixth-year in the MD-PhD program finishing up my PhD in Chemical Biology. I grew up in NY, studied Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and English Lit as a Yale undergrad, and this trajectory up the New England coast has most recently brought me here, to Harvard!  I use computational and rational design techniques to engineer protein-based immunogens for flavivirus vaccines. I'm also always excited about space medicine, literary theory, queer health, health equity, and global health. If I'm not in lab, you can find me drawing, hiking, singing, propagating more plants than I can fit in my room, and acquiring piles of new books before I've read my old ones. If you want to chat about medicine, books, research, art, music, plants, viruses, outer space, just want a warm cup of tea, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm so excited to get to know you all.
