Ammaar Saeed

Hi all! I was born in Iowa but grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. At present, I'm a PhD candidate in the Biophysics program interested in protein structure and function. I attended Harvard as an undergraduate (C/o 2023), concentrating in Chemical and Physical Biology and pursuing a Secondary in Statistics. Afterwards, I jumped across the pond to study molecular biology at the University of Cambridge through the generous support of the Herchel Smith Postgraduate Scholarship in the Sciences. As a non-Lowellian as an undergraduate, I'm glad to officially be part of the Lowell community. Outside of science, I enjoy making and drinking coffee, running and biking around the Greater Boston area, and cooking food for others. Feel free to reach out anytime. Cheers!
