I am an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School, where I work as a neurologist and network scientist. Based at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, I care for patients in a clinic open for students to participate. My research examines how social networks affect people’s health and well-being. I have studied the networks of heroin users, stroke survivors, and former NFL players. The beauty and flexibility of the network approach may be useful to students with research ambitions in medicine and the social sciences. As a HMS graduate and Rhodes Scholar, I am also happy to share ideas to inform your plans after college.
