I am a second year PhD student in the Economics department, and got my BA in Economics and Statistics at Swarthmore College in 2016. I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and love to make Brazilian deserts in my spare time. I will likely show you a picture of my dog within 5 minutes of meeting you, and I will lose focus in whatever I am doing if a dog walks by. I enjoy watching soccer (I root for Flamengo and the Chicago Red Stars) and any and all winter sports. I am always looking for book recommendations, especially biographies, history of science, and tax analyses. I have recently taken up running, and have been listening to a lot of audiobooks as I go past Lowell House towards the river. I look forward to meeting everyone!
