HeyLowell! I am thrilled to be returning to Lowell House this year as a resident tutor along with my partner Kyle and goofy-dog-Griff. I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology. I study the regeneration of the nervous system in a weird worm. Prior to my move to Cambridge, I received my M.S. from San Francisco State University studying nudibranchs (google them, I promise you wont be disappointed) and my B.S. from UC Berkeley. As a California native, I’ve been described as a ‘delicate flower’ when it comes to handling the weather here in New England. I’ve worked in the public sector, including the EPA, as well as non-profit organizations focusing on biodiversity. In my free time, I enjoy spin classes, listening to music, eating at all the ice cream places in the greater Boston area, and anything tangentially related to Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-(Carter). I'm excited to continue making connections with the Lowell community and getting to know each and every one of you. Please feel free to reach out and let's talk about whatever is on your mind, or if you just want to come say hi to Griff swing on by!
