My other current Harvard involvements include the Radcliffe Institute, the Harvard-Cambridge Scholarships, and the Harvard Alumni Association. I’ve also served on the Board of Overseers and on visiting committees to several of the departments in the humanities as well as HDS, HLS and the Art Museums. As an undergraduate I studied philosophy here, then English on a post-graduate fellowship to Cambridge. I taught high school English before attending Harvard Law School and advising clients in the practice area of trusts and estates and philanthropy. In the latter part of my professional career I helped start and served as CEO of a wealth advisory firm, Ropes Wealth Advisors. With long-time interests in art and music, I continue my activities on the boards of the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem and the Handel + Haydn Society in Boston.
