Hi Lowell! I just finished my PhD in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard and am now a postdoctoral researcher at MIT, working on which genes and traits allow trees to adapt to climate change. I grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a BA in Biology & Environmental Studies. Prior to starting my PhD, I worked with dolphins in Florida, as a Development Officer at an Aquarium, as a garden consultant in the UK, and as a Research Assistant at the Smithsonian/Harvard Forest. I rowed competitively throughout high school and college and love all things outdoors.
