I am Victor S. Thomas Professor of Divinity, at HDS. I focus on women in religion and on issues of religion, gender and identity in both my teaching and research. My particular research interest is in relation to women and Islam: originally in relation specifically to the Middle East and now also in relation to Islam in America. I am very happy to discuss these and other subjects with any interested Lowellians.
