I am Associate Lecturer of Applied Physics in the School of Engineering. This is my 7th year in Lowell House. I grew up in Toronto and completed my undergraduate education at McGill. I did my PhD in Applied Physics here at Harvard.. I continue to do research on physics education and ways of improving curricula at the undergraduate level. Before coming to Harvard, I taught high school physics and spent one year teaching on a school ship while sailing around the world. I continue to be passionate about sailing and teach learn-to-sail classes at the MIT sailing pavilion. My other interests include rowing, long distance running, squash, tennis and chess.
