I have taught finance in the economics department since 1994. I am particularly interested in household finance – how ordinary people use or misuse financial products – and I teach a freshman seminar on this subject in which we discuss ideas to improve the design of the financial system. My accent gives away my upbringing in England. Off campus I enjoy choral singing, tandem cycling with my son, and the coast of Maine.
