I am a Lecturer in the Physics Department and also serve as the Associate Director of Science Education in FAS. I grew up in Ohio and came to Harvard for graduate school, where I earned my Ph.D. as a member of The Center for the Fundamental Laws of Nature, focusing on theoretical particle physics and quantum field theory. Recently, my research has focused on science education and artificial intelligence. I spent nearly a decade at NOVA | PBS as a Digital Producer. There, I created documentaries, educational interactive games, and an original video series called "What the Physics?!". In my free time, I enjoy stand-up comedy, filmmaking, and software development.
