Hi everyone! I am originally from Tübingen, a small university town in Germany, and currently a PhD candidate in the Committee on the Study of Religion with a secondary concentration in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. My research looks at the intersection of so-called radical religion with non-normative constructions of kinship, gender, and race in early American history. I tutor alongside my partner Chance and we live with our two cats, Sophia and Lilith. In my freetime, I like to go for nature walks and forage for plants and mushrooms, practice Yoga, and visit art exhibitions. Please find me to talk all things WGS, religion, history, art and material culture, or to tell me about exciting books, poems, movies etc. you have engaged with recently. If you are craving delicious tea outside of our Lowell Tea Thursdays, I am happy to brew you cup or two from my vast collection while we chat.
