I can't deal with people I don't know, so how am I able to live with my friends when they come back? ~Xenophobe Dear X, Broaden your world! Join the millions of people who meet people they don't know every day! Seriously, the policy around studying abroad or any leave of absence is the same for all the Houses: we can't 'hold' empty beds for folks coming back in the spring. By that, we mean those of you who are living in residence and guaranteed housing have to find like- minded peers to share your living quarters. When students return in the spring from being On Leave, they are floated into remaining spaces as felicitously and carefully as possible. It's always tricky but we, your devoted housing servants, really do try to make a good job of it. So be in touch with me and throw your hat in the ring! Pass the word around the dining hall that you need a compatriot to share a microfridge, and let the trickle-down theory of roommate-omics make you socially solvent again. ~Beth ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- FROM THE PRE-LAW COMMITTEE Website: http://lowell.harvard.edu/advising/pre-law Pre-Law Committee (LoHoLaw@fas.harvard.edu) * Jean Han (jeanhan@fas.harvard.edu) * Sandy Alexander (sandy_alexander@post.harvard.edu) * Karl Procaccini (karlprocaccini@gmail.com) ***Sunday, April 19, 7:00pm, SCR: Mandatory Pre-Law meeting for students intending to apply to Law School this Fall*** !!
