Lowell Web Design Class

For five years Alan Wagner, former Resident Tutor and Lowell House Webmaster, taught an introductory course in web design every semester. The course gave students an orientation to the basics of HTML, stylesheets, graphics, and dynamic HTML, and directed them to online resources where they could find more detailed information, explanations, and tutorials.

These online resources are preserved here, in the hope that they will be of continuing use to Lowellians. Dr. Wagner (as he is now known) may be reached at mail@alanwagner.org with any comments or questions.

HTMLSource’s JavaScript Tutorials
There are lots and lots of JavaScript tutorials out there (try googling “javascript tutorial”); this is one of the best I've seen. Don’t worry too much about all the stuff regarding old browsers (version 4 or earlier).
