The Lowell House Virtual Bell Tower

he Lowell House bells, a collection of 17 Russian bells, were given by Charles Crane as a gift to the house in 1930. The bells originally came from the St. Danilov Monastery in Moscow. Read more about the History of the Lowell House bells.

The Klappermeisters organize the weekly ringing of the bells. The bells are rung on Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 1:15pm. However, for those who are not quite adventurous enough to come out on Sunday afternoons, or for those who just want to practice before next Sunday, you now have the opportunity to ring the Lowell House bells in the privacy of your own room.
